The TI4Dev Discover program is a program aimed at identifying and developing talent and initiatives in the technology sector in Cameroon and Africa. The program seek to showcase people who have demonstrates a passion and aptitude for technology by creating innovative solutions to daily challenges.
By exposing these individuals and their initiatives, the TI4Dev Discover program aims at promoting the adoption of these initiatives and creations into everyday life as well as helping them attract partners, support them with training and mentorship. The end goal is to them become successful tech entrepreneurs and enable their communities benefit from their work.
TI4Dev Discover program seeks to:
- Encourage the development of innovative ideas and startups
- Stimulate the introduction and use of technology into business and everyday life
- Provoke governments and private organizations to create policies and programs that support the growth of the tech industry
- Help facilitate access to resources such as funding, mentorship, networking opportunities and education
- Promote women and girls engaged in different fields of technology
- Promote diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry
