The objectives of the TI4Dev Careers program is to inspire and educate students about career opportunities in the technology industry, build their skills and confidence, and help them navigate the job market.
Career orientation is important for youths because it helps them make informed decisions about their future career paths. It enables them to identify their strengths and weaknesses, explore different career options, learn about the job market, and understand the qualifications and skills required for different professions.
By offering career guidance to our youth, TI4Deve Careers hopes the youth will be able to make better choices about their education and training, and increase their chances of having successful and fulfilling careers.
TI4Dev Careers run activities with the objectives of:
- Helping individuals gain knowledge about different career options,
- Assessing individuals skills and interests,
- Helping individuals understand the requirements for success in their fields of interest
- Identifying potential career paths, and providing guidance on how to pursue those paths
- Helping individuals develop job search skills such as resume writing and interviewing
- Providing information on educational and training opportunities
- Providing resources and opportunities for networking and professional development.
- Encourage the involvement of women and girls in to technology
